Which iPhones does DentDOG support?
DentDOG runs on iPhones with iOS 16 or later. LiDAR measuring needs an iPhone with LiDAR (iPhone 12 Pro and later Pro models). Every other iPhone uses photo-based measuring instead.
Why does DentDOG ask for camera access?
The camera is how you photograph and measure damage on each panel. Photos are processed on your iPhone. If you said no by accident, go to Settings → DentDOG → Camera.
How do I send an estimate to a customer or adjuster?
Tap the share button on the deck. DentDOG makes a PDF of the current vehicle and opens the iOS share sheet so you can AirDrop it, email it, or save it to Files.
How do I switch between two vehicles?
Tilt the deck by swiping up or down on the front card. While it's tilted, keep swiping sideways to switch to the other vehicle.
Does DentDOG connect to Mitchell or CCC?
Not yet. Insurer connections are planned for a future update.
Is my data backed up?
Estimates are stored on your iPhone. Export a PDF of anything you need to keep. Deleting the app deletes its data.
